Objectives

Smartex specializes in developing innovative inspection and traceability systems for the textile sector, using artificial intelligence and computer vision.

This project aims to empower Smartex to address a broader range of applications in the textile industry, contributing to greater agility in developing new inspection systems and AI models. To this end, investments will be made in two main areas:

i) Digitize and optimize phases of the Smartex system manufacturing process, specifically using additive manufacturing, digital twins, advanced electronics, and the digital transition of operational processes;

ii) Equip Smartex with hardware and software that allows the collection, processing, and advanced data analysis, and the development of new AI models for new applications;

With this investment, Smartex will create physical means to test new components, develop advanced AI models to detect textile defects with high precision and fewer data, and adapt systems to new production processes.
